Joining the PTA is a great way to show support!
We encourage both parents to become PTA members each year! By joining the PTA, you can stay informed through PTA emails and voice your opinions at our monthly meetings. You are not required to attend meetings or volunteer your time, but we would love for you to do so if you have the time. The dates of our association meetings and volunteer opportunities are on our website.
The PTA helps make Brooks a better school in two ways:
1. We raise money by holding fundraisers like the Jog-a-thon, Community Dine-Outs, Give Back Programs, and Gala. Money raised goes toward classroom enrichment, class field trips, assemblies, the Art program, the Garden program, and much more! We work with the Brooks staff to make sure our kids have the resources and materials they need!
2. We build a community. Ice Cream Social, Harvest Carnival, Family Dance, Doughnuts with Grownups, Staff Appreciation, Holiday Store, and Yearbook- all these amazing events are planned and staffed by PTA volunteers. These community events give our kids a chance to have fun and make some awesome lasting memories!
