VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR
The William Brooks Read-a-thon is a Spring Fundraiser with a goal of encouraging students to read while raising money to support our school. The fundraiser will take place at William Brooks and truly anywhere that you can read a book!

Planning for the 2025 Spring Fundraiser,
Camp Read-A-Lot, is already underway!
Camp Read-A-Lot will be a week-long fundraiser filled with a lot of fun activities for the whole family! We will kick off the week with Donuts with Grownups on Tuesday, April 29 and will host a Family Event on the evening of Friday, May 2. There will be daily "read-cess" at school, so kids can rack up minutes during recess, in addition to reading outside of school.

Our goal is to encourage students to read while raising $20,000 to support our school. Children will collect pledges and read (or be read to) throughout the week in an effort to earn money for the William Brooks PTA. There will daily reading incentives, and prizes for minutes read by individuals, classes, and school-wide, to celebrate literacy and the joy of reading.
